Tasks and verification
Follow progress, inspect checks, and continue saved work.
Give the task a clear finish line
Describe what should change, the constraints, and the checks that would demonstrate success. For a larger task, ask for a plan with concrete milestones. Smaller, specific follow-ups are easier to verify than an open-ended request to change everything.
Follow progress
The task panel shows the plan, checks, and execution activity. Saved progress survives closing the browser tab. Inspect the actual files, command results, and deployment behavior before relying on a completion message.
Verification results belong to the code revision they checked. If the agent changes code afterward, an earlier passing check can be stale and should be rerun when relevant.
Work budget and daily allowance
A work budget bounds how much work a task can attempt in a run. It is separate from the account’s daily allowance. Increasing a task budget does not bypass the daily usage limit.
A task can pause because it reached its work budget, used the available allowance, encountered a blocker, or stopped making progress. Read the recorded reason before continuing.
Continue saved work
Use Continue task when more work is needed. If allowance is depleted, wait for the automatic reset, apply an available daily reset, or change to a plan with more usage first. If a permission, missing tool, or configuration caused the pause, resolve that blocker before retrying.
For example:
Continue from the saved changes. Fix the failing build shown in the latest check, verify the result, and stop when it passes. Explain any action you cannot perform.
Stop or redirect the agent
Use Stop to halt ongoing work. If the task is going in the wrong direction, give a concrete correction. AppJet can adjust its problem-solving approach when a task needs more reasoning, while preserving the saved progress and remaining allowance.
The agent should explain unavailable capabilities and required user actions. It should not claim that a tool call, test, push, or deployment succeeded without supporting evidence.
