## A daily allowance, shared across projects

AppJet uses a daily usage allowance rather than a fixed number of messages. The allowance is shared across all repositories and tasks on your account. Longer conversations, larger codebases, and more complex tasks can consume more usage than a short question.

The app displays the **percentage available**, including capacity reserved for work in progress. Cached work consumes less allowance than uncached work. The same agent capabilities are available on every plan; plans provide different usage allowances and paid deployment features.

## When usage resets

Your daily allowance resets automatically at **00:00 UTC**, independently of your monthly subscription renewal. This is 8 p.m. in Toronto during daylight saving time and 7 p.m. during standard time.

The daily allowance does not accumulate from one day to the next. Available account resets are separate and can stack until their individual expiration dates.

## When you run out

If the account does not have enough allowance to continue, the task pauses with progress saved. Wait for the daily reset, apply an available [daily reset](https://appjet.ai/docs/essentials/free-messages), or choose a plan with more usage. Then continue the saved task from the workspace.

Changing the task's work budget does not override your account's daily allowance. See [tasks and verification](https://appjet.ai/docs/tasks).

## What stays available

A depleted coding allowance does not introduce an age-based expiry for deployed apps. Free deployments do not disappear after seven days. See [deployment persistence](https://appjet.ai/docs/essentials/deploy#deployment-persistence).
